Post Office Update

As you may recall the Parish Council has spent a considerable amount of time investigating and negotiating on the possibiity of a Post Office in Cambourne. This has continually been frustrated by the lack of a premises and a suitable business to run it. The Post Office and the Parish Council continue to work to get a permanent Post Office in Cambourne but in the interim it may be possible to have a mobile Post Office in The Hub car park on a Wednesday afternoon. You may have noticed it in the car park today testing the suitability. The Post Office have gone away to work out the feasibilty of the provision. The next step, if feasibile, is to carry out a consultation as set out in legislation. Please watch this space for further information.
